MANILA, Philippines—Thirty-two schools from different key cities nationwide competed for the 4th Jr. National Basketball Championship, spearheaded by National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) together with Under Armour (UA).
Bagging the first place in the basketball competition was Ateneo de Cebu.
Startled with the Under Armour stuff they received, the participants said they were excited to wear their new gear. “At last I can now finally use a compression,” one of them said. “This will make my performance better.”
Under Armour has been supportive of the grassroots basketball program of the country, engaging the athletes and coaches of public schools and supporting NBTC with coach Eric Altamirano.
Basketball being the No. 1 sports in the Philippines has ingrained in UA Southeast Asia a commitment to bring in more exciting things to the market. Watch out for more exciting offers for the basketball community after the recent success of the Stephen Curry One. ADVT
