Globalport parts ways with Warner, takes services of Laker big Caracter

MANILA, Philippines–Globalport has parted ways with import Calvin Warner as the 6-foot-7 forward will return to the United States to attend to some “important personal matters.”

A source privy to the situation said Globalport is “happy with Calvin’s performances” and they will tap him once again in the third conference if Batang Pier enter the Commissioner’s Cup quarterfinals.

Former Los Angeles Laker big man Derrick Caracter will replace Warner, the source said.

Caracter will be Globalport’s third import of the Commissioner’s Cup after Warner replaced CJ Leslie early in the conference.
