MANILA, Philippines—Brewyard captured the Group I crown while Haciendas de Naga ruled Group 2 in the 27th Corporate Cup at the Camp John Hay course in Baguio last Thursday.
Allan Crisostomo, Marco Olives, Rudy Amata and Fernando Zaldarriaga pooled 291 points under the Molave scoring system to best Repsol by three points in the four-to-play, three-to-count event.
Repsol drew 288 from Mon Capistrano, Michael Miguel, Robert Ace Barbers and Mark Proceso Gabriel, relegating Forest Lodge, made up of Thirdy Escaño, Jayson Yu, Shean Bedi and Bong Mandapat to third with 277.
Toyota-La Union’s Rocky Co scored 118 for the individual title.
Haciendas de Naga also drew solid games from Emeterio Aman, Denny Gale, Erik Gilbert Smith and Mario Pradil to top Group 2 with 269, 11 points ahead of Rural Bankers-1 made up of Jerry Coloma, Pelagio Alcantara, Efren Leonardo and Buddy Zabat.
Cenovis/Lactacyd, with individual winner Raoul Jorge posting 102, finished third with 246.
Pugo Adventure-2 took the Group 3 plum with a 257, upending Toyota-La Union (253) and UltraFlite RD Interior Jr. Construction (247). Pelagio Alcantara of Rural Bankers-1 won the individual title with 91 points.
