UFCC 6-Cock Derby fifth leg today at Big Dome

THE FIFTH leg of the 2015 Ultimate Fighting Cock Championships (UFCC) 6-Cock Derby series gets going today at Smart Araneta Coliseum with 108 tough matches lined up starting at 12 noon.

Charlie “Atong” Ang leads the race in the battle for the 2015 UFCC Cocker of the Year title with a total of 16.5 points despite not winning a single leg. He scored 4.5, 3.5, 4 and 4.5 points, respectively, in the past four legs of the 10-leg cockwars hosted by UFCC and backed by Thunderbird Platinum, Thunderbird XP, Resorts World-Manila, and Solaire Resorts and Casino.

Reigning World Slasher Cup solo champion Gerry Ramos also continued his good showing with 16 points after four legs scoring 3, 5, 3.5 and 4.5 points, in that order, while 2014 Cocker of the Year Osang dela Cruz and partner Nad Mendoza are in third place with 15.5 points. Atty. Astorga is at solo fourth with 15 points.
