Ginebra ends skid, routs slumping Globalport
MANILA, Philippines—Barangay Ginebra San Miguel thumped Globalport, 96-81, in the 2015 PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Saturday night at Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.
Kings import Michael Dunigan had 22 points, 18 rebounds and five blocks while Greg Slaughter scored 22 points and six blocks off the bench.
Ginebra rode on its strong start—taking a 31-16 lead in the second quarter—and never looked back to stop a two-game slide and level its record to 5-5.

Globalport’s second-year guard Terrence Romeo collected 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals but had a hard time than usual with the Ginebra defense concentrated on locking him down. Romeo shot just 6-of-17 from the field.
Former Los Angeles Laker Derrick Caracter recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Batang Pier, who have now lost three consecutive games to slid to 4-6.
