Valdez, Santiago sisters lead PH team to Asian U23 tilt

ALYSSA Valdez, Aby Maraño, Dindin Santiago-Manabat and sister Jaja Santiago will lead the Philippine women’s volleyball team that will compete in the Asian U23 championships slated May 1 to 9 at Mall of Asia Arena.  Larong Volleyball ng Pilipinas president Joey Romasanta yesterday announced the 14-woman national pool that will include Jhia Morado, Bea de Leon, Gretchel Soltones, Alyssa Eroa, EJ Laure, Ria Meneses, Kim Fajardo, Tin Agno, Christine Rosario and Myra Pablo.  They will train at Blue Eagles’ Gym under Roger Gorayeb, Sammy Acaylar and Tai Bundit as consultant.  Marc Anthony Reyes
