Jeff Mayweather: Floyd ‘beat the (bleep) out of Judah’ in sparring
MANILA, Philippines — Floyd Mayweather Jr. has reportedly sparred with former world champion Zab Judah for three rounds as part of the pound-for-pound king’s preparations for his May 2 megafight with Manny Pacquiao.
And according to Jeff Mayweather, uncle and trainer of Floyd, his nephew “just beat the (bleep) out of him.”
“He beat Judah so bad, Judah was scared to let his hands go,” Jeff Mayweather told MLive.

“Everybody was just hyped because they thought Judah was going to be something different, but Judah was worse than the other guys,” Jeff Mayweather said in the same interview.
“It seemed like Floyd had something personal against him. He beat the (bleep) out of him. So then he quit, he let Judah off the hook, because Judah’s got a fight coming up and he messed his eye up.”

Jeff Mayweather also observes a different Floyd this time. A fighter that’s “on a different level.”
“It may be just his mind, and all the (bleep) he’s been dealing with with Manny over the years. Obviously, he’s taken that in some kind of way, and I mean, he’s punishing these guys.”
It’s not only the veteran Judah who’s bearing the brunt but also Floyd’s other up-and-coming spar mates.
“They want to prove something. They’ve proved something, all right. They’re getting destroyed. He’s annihilating everybody. He’s a beast. This isn’t the same old Floyd.”
