Top Filipino prospect “Prince” Albert Pagara overpowered his Mexican opponent Rodolfo Hernandez to keep his record perfect on Saturday night in the undercard of Pinoy Pride 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Pagara, whose record remained unblemished after hiking his impressive mark to 23-0 with 16 knockouts, decked the lanky Fernandez with a right uppercut and an overhand right to the head with just a minute gone by in the opening round.

The hard-hitting Pagara pummeled Fernandez with combinations to the body and head for four rounds before Hernandez, as advised by the ring physician, couldn’t continue for a fifth round due to an injured right hand.

The 21-year-old Pagara retained the IBF intercontinental super bantamweight championship.
