Purefoods guard Justin Melton tried his hand at broadcasting with PBA D-League standout Moala Tautuaa as his cameraman on Sunday following the Hotshots’ win over the Alaska Aces.

Melton along with Tautuaa, who is projected top overall pick in the next PBA Draft, played around with a TV crew’s camera and microphone and drew laughs from onlookers outside the team dugouts.
The 27-year-old Melton also joked he wants NLEX to beat Meralco because he’s “tired.” A win by the Road Warriors would mean the Hotshots won’t play until Sunday.
“This game will decide what day we play. We want NLEX to win so we could play on Sunday because I’m tired.”
Melton, whose dunk attempt in the Slam Dunk Contest where we has blindfolded went viral, even fooled around with a reporter.

“In front of a million plus viewers, who’s your favorite player?” Melton asked.
After the veteran reporter playfully answered that Melton was his favorite player and slam dunk artist, Melton acknowledged it and said, “really? I like you man.”
