Lascuña heads local cast in Eagle Ridge Invt’l golf

THREE-TIME Philippine Golf Tour Order of Merit winner Tony Lascuña will spearhead the local challenge in the ICTSI Eagle Ridge Invitational on April 15 to 18 at Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite.

Lascuña, who notched his first Asian Development Tour win in the Aboitiz Invitational last year, will be joined by ADT leg champions Elmer Salvador and brothers Jay and Rufino Bayron, Angelo Que and Miguel Tabuena.

Reigning ADT Order of Merit titlist Pavit Tangkamolprasert of Thailand and ADT leg winners James Byrne of Scotland, American James Bowen, Mitsuhiko Hashizume of Japan, and Malaysians Wilson Choo and Arie Irawan head the foreign players in the 72-hole championship.

The ADT will also sanction the Sherwood Hills Classic on April 22.

Meanwhile, action in the Ladies PGT resumes Wednesday with the Splendido Ladies Invitational in Tagaytay.  Cyna Rodriguez will banner the local crew.
