Edgardo Alejan claimed his second gold medal in the 4×400 relay, while steeplechaser Christopher Ulboc and pole vaulter Ernest John Obiena got one apiece as the Philippines clinched second overall in the 77th Singapore Open Track and Field Championships at the Singapore Sports Hub.
In all, the Philippines won six golds, four silvers and three bronzes in the two-day event.
Indonesia ruled the meet with a 8-5-5 haul, with Thailand (5-2-1) third and Malaysia (4-6-2) fourth.
Alejan, already the winner of the 400 meters, joined hands with Joan Caido, Cid and Archand Christian Bagsit in ruling the 4x400m in 3 minutes, 11.14 seconds.
Ulboc topped the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 8:56.8, better than the 9:01.59 he posted in bagging the Myanmar SEA Games gold while Obiena cleared 5.2 meters, better than the 5.15m Thai Kreeta Sintawacheewa posted in winning the 2013 SEA Games gold.
