Mayweather to use mouth guard with gold, diamond, dollar bills

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is putting his money where his mouth is. Literally.

The world’s richest athlete will reportedly use a $25,000 mouth guard for his megafight against Manny Pacquiao on May 2.

According to TMZ, Mayweather has his mouthpieces customized by a New York City-based dentist Lee Gause, a famous mouthguard maker in the business.

What makes the mouth protector insanely expensive is it has a touch of gold, hint of diamond and real $100 bills in it.

“My career’s gone on 19 years and I’ve been able to preserve my smile,” Mayweather told TMZ Sports.

Late last month, it was also reported that Mayweather, who could earn up to $180 million for fighting Pacquiao, used an 18-karat gold pen worth $4,000 or about P180,000 in signing the fight contract. CC
