Fox Sports launches fan-friendly sports show
MANILA, Philippines—To celebrate the Filipinos’ love for anything basketball, Fox Sports launched a new show to quench the nation’s thirst for the parquet floor and the leather ball.
Fox Sports unveiled The G.O.A.T, which stands for Greatest of All Time, which will air its first episode on April 16.
The G.O.A.T is a magazine show dedicated to “85 percent” basketball and the rest to sports in general.
Jude Turcuato, Head of Fox International Channels Philippines, said The G.O.A.T is their take on their own version of a local sports show which he hopes could be their stepping stone for bigger things to come.
“This is in a level we feel like it’s better looking, more entertaining,” Turcuato said Wednesday at A-Venue Mall during the launch.
He added that The G.O.A.T will connect sports fans better to their favorite sport.
The G.O.A.T will have a foursome hosting it, Nikko Ramos, KC Montero, Suzy Gamboa, and Mo Twister.
With their engaging hosts admitting that The G.O.A.T will be a different kind of sports show, they joked that “no one can out-stupid us.” CC
