Inciting two great ones is never a good thing.

Retired NBA player Kendall Gill did it once in the 90s and he did it again on Friday (Manila time).

Gill took a jab at Manny Pacquiao in his Instagram post when NBA’s Greatest of All Time Michael Jordan destroyed him and his then teammates Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning.

Especially Mourning.

“Me, Larry Johnson, and Alonzo Mourning were young upcoming guns in the league. We were feeling ourselves in this game because we were giving it to the Bulls. After this play our Wild oats quickly became shredded wheats! Alonzo had just blocked 2 of the Bulls shots. We started talking smack. I could [sense] MJ getting mad because We were matched up against each other. I didn’t give a crap though because I was young, dumb and didn’t know any better. MJ back doored me out of the triangle offense and put Zo on his collection of posters. Lol. Moral of this story? Callin out the Devil is one thing. Facing him is another! Never tug on Superman’s cape unless you’re absolutely ready! Did you hear me Pacman?”

Gill was a rookie then with the Charlotte Hornets, which is now Jordan’s team,  and he quickly realized that they should never attempt anger the one true king.

Well, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is Gill’s no.2 favorite fighter behind the legendary Muhammad Ali.

He said so in his Twitter account back in December of 2014.

Pacquiao and Mayweather will dispute who is the greatest of their era on May 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Mr. Gill did post a pretty witty little anecdote there and a little jab to boost.

Come May 2, the world, and Mr. Gill, will know whose cape they should never pull. It’s either Pacquiao or Mayweather.
