Buhain, Muros, Tuason tapped as Palaro icons
NATIONAL sports heroes Eric Buhain and Elma Muros-Posadas and Yannick Tuason of the Philippine Azkals have been tapped to serve as the 2015 Palarong Pambansa icons when the games unfurls on May 3 in Davao del Norte.
Organizers are counting on the three to provide inspiration to about 10,000 elementary and high school athletes from 17 regions, having started their sporting careers in the event organized by the Department of Education.
“They are three of the most inspiring faces in sports and the Palaro is the best platform where their iconic status could boost the dedication and skills of the student athletes,” said Gov. Rodolfo del Rosario of host Davao del Norte.
