ANGELO Que and Antonio Lascuña spearhead the local charge as the Asian Development Tour and the ICTSI Philippine Golf Tour host two international tournaments starting Wednesday.
First up is the $60,000 Eagle Ridge Invitational at the complex’ Aoki layout in General Trias, Cavite, where six former leg winners of the Asian Tour’s farm circuit will be seeing action.
Next week, another $60,000 event will be on tap, the Sherwood Hills Classic.
Filipinos ruled all three ADT events held in the country last season, with Elmer Salvador prevailing at Riviera, Rufino Bayron breaking through at Orchard and Lascuña ruling the $100,000 Aboitiz Invitational at Riviera’s Couples layout.
Que, the former Philippine Open titlist and three-time Asian Tour winner, will be coming into the event fresh off his victory at the Manila Masters. Musong R. Castillo
