MANILA, PHILIPPINES–His son may have toned down the trash talk, but not Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Mayweather Sr. told Fight Hub that he expects Manny Pacquiao to take the knee on May 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena when the eight-division World Champion faces Floyd Mayweather Jr. in boxing’s most expensive fight.

“I ain’t gonna just speak on what I think it’s gonna be, I’m just gonna say that some things that, more than likely he’s gonna get hit with some real good things. Some good things, and, you know, and he might retreat,” Floyd Sr. said. “When I say retreat, he might take a knee. And then say, ‘don’t want no more.’ Over.”

He also pointed out Pacquiao’s recent loss to Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao fought Marquez four times where he won two, drew the first, and lost via vicious knockout in the fourth.

Mayweather Jr., though, dominated Marquez in 2009.

“I don’t see nothing that Pacquiao got. Matter of fact, all the fights he fought with Marquez, all them was close fights,” Mayweather Sr. said. “Floyd beat that guy so easy, man. It’s crazy. I just don’t see the fight. I can see him running into so many things. I know what Floyd do, so, hey, I’m pretty sure he’s gonna do what Floyd want him to do.”
He added that his son would bring the pain to Pacquiao, so bad that Pacquiao would beg Money to stop.

“Whatever he hits Pacquiao with, we plan on doing great bodily harm. Definitely some real damage,” Mayweather Sr. said.

Pacquiao versus Mayweather will be the Pacman’s second bout where he will be facing a boxer under trainer Mayweather Sr.

In 2009, Pacquiao defeated Ricky Hatton for The Ring Light Welterweight Championship with a vicious left that knocked out the Brit in the second round.

Before the fight, Mayweather Sr. said Pacquiao would be in a beating which never planned out.
