Captain America and Thor’s wagers are so weird but eventually make sense.
Why? Because they’re superheroes, sort of.
Talking to Fox 5, Chris Evans,who plays Captain America, and Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in Avengers: Age of Ultron, wagered on the megafight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
“If we’re going to bet, we’re going to make a wager on the Floyd Mayweather-Pacquiao [match],” Hemsworth said. “Well l, I want Pacquiao.”
Evans then responded that he picks Mayweather.
Just like a tumultuous encounter in the Avengers’ leadership, Hemsworth and Evans could not make their minds on what the wager would be.
Hemsworth then proposed a wager of 1 million cents and push-ups.
He, however, scratched it in favor of the world’s strangest bet that puts Marvel’s universe to shame.
“You [Evans] get one of my children. But if I win, I get you as my fourth child,” Hemsworth said.
Who wages his own offspring? Thor can.
“Win-win!” Evans said in glee.
Even the uptight, moral-bound Captain America gave in to the Asgaardian.
