JUDICIARY erupted for six triples in a crucial third quarter run en route to beating Malacañang, 89-71, Sunday to move within a win of ruling the 3rd UNTV Cup Sunday at Ynares Sports Center.

Former PBA player Don Camaso starred in that rampage, knocking down three of his four triples to give the Magis the lead for good, 64-44, in Game 1 of their best-of-three title series.

The 6-foot-6 Camaso finished with 22 points on 7-of-20 shooting.  He also grabbed seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, deposed champion Armed Forces of the Philippines downed Senate, 98-87, to salvage third spot.
