Floyd Mayweather is preparing for arguably the biggest fight of his career and he is taking no chances.

On Wednesday (Manila time), the WBC, WBA Welterweight Champion held his last training session open to media as he goes for his final preparations for his fight against Manny Pacquiao on May 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Showtime Sports uploaded videos of Mayweather going about his training regiment in front of scores of media personnel in his gym in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao and Mayweather, arguably the best fighters of their generation, have basically traded places atop the pound-for-pound rankings and will finally face each other in the ring after almost six years of botched negotiations.

Mayweather, though, arrived late for his training session and Pacquiao, the WBO Welterweight Champion, just couldn’t resist taking a jab.

Pacquiao told Fred Sternburg (@Toofred), sports and entertainment press relations man who works with Pacquiao, that he will be on time for his media day workout to win a bet.

“I promise to not only arrive on time for my media day but EARLY to make @Toofred pay @FreddieRoach and me each a hamburger,” Pacquiao posted on Twitter.

Pacquiao is scheduled to have his media day workout on Thursday (Manila time).
