There is perhaps no better motivation for Manny Pacquiao, as he prepares for the most important fight of his life, than becoming the first one to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.
But a speed ball with Mayweather’s face plastered on it could give the Filipino ring legend extra motivation and make his training at the Wild Card Boxing Club a little more exciting.
Pacquiao was seen amused with the customized speed ball given to him by lawyer Robert Shapiro, who is known for representing OJ Simpson in a highly-publicized murder trial 1995.
In a report by the Daily Mail Online, Pacquiao shared laughs with his longtime trainer Freddie Roach as they took a close look at the one-of-a-kind speed ball.
Speed will be one of Pacquiao’s weapons, along with his unrelenting aggressiveness, against Mayweather on their May 2 welterweight title unification bout in Las Vegas.
