Smart-Araneta Coliseum, the Philippines’ most historic sporting venue, will once again bear witness to another spectacle.

When Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. climb MGM Grand Garden Arena’s fabled ring on May 3 (Manila time), Smart-Araneta will mirror the experience.

Dubbed “Thrilla in Manila II,” the live broadcast of the Pacquiao-Mayweather on May 3 will go on HD format which will be shown on Smart-Araneta’s Giant Cube.

“Thrilla in Manila “was the biggest boxing match of the 1970s when heavyweight legends Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier went on an epic match that saw Ali triumph and cementing Smart-Araneta’s reputation as the foremost sporting venue in the Philippines.

Just an extra punch, Smart-Araneta will throw in a free ticket for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals for those who will avail of the “Thrilla in Manila II” ticket.

Promo runs from April 15 to 22.

Tickets for the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight are now on sale.  For inquiries and ticket purchases, log on to www.ticketnet.com.ph or call 911-5555.
