HOLLYWOOD—What a rest day it was for Manny Pacquiao.

Taking a break from training, Pacquiao fulfilled his spiritual obligations on Sunday.

He attended morning service at Shepherd of the Hills Church at Poster Ranch in Los Angeles.

Bringing along his family—wife Jinkee and children Jimwel, Michael, Princess, Queenie and Baby Israel—Pacquiao listened to senior pastor and good friend Dudley Rutherford.

When it was over, fellow Christians, fans and the media milled around Pacquiao, who also attended last week’s service at the same church.

From there, Pacquiao and his entourage proceeded to the Japanese restaurant Kabuki.

Also present were Pacquiao’s mother, Dionisia, and her lover, Michael Yamson, who were seen cuddling each other and taking selfies at a corner table.

Pacquiao left ahead of his guests to change clothes as he had to attend the final weigh-in of the weight loss contest he sponsored for Team Pacquiao members and other supporters at Florentine Gardens, a 1930s entertainment center, here.

Former boxer Arnel Fontanilla, reaping the benefits of running alongside Pacquiao daily, and Kharzma Tan, who trimmed down on crackers, fruits and exercise, emerged champions in the men’s and women’s division, respectively. In all, 63 finalists vied for the $10,000 top prizes.

Anyone who shedded the required 15 percent of their body weight and managed to recite three Bible verses got $2,000 each.

The event dragged on for five hours with Pacquiao personally handing out the prizes.

Still energetic, Pacquiao headed to his home at Plymouth Boulevard for dinner. At 10 p.m., he excused himself and went to bed.
