Pacquiao says thank you for Inquirer coverage
HOLLYWOOD–Manny Pacquiao thanked the Inquirer Thursday afternoon after his workout at Wild Card gym here, acknowledging the efforts of the country’s most respected news organization in covering his highly anticipated bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Article continues after this advertisement“Salamat sa Inquirer pala, nakikita ko yung paguusap nila, yung interview-interview nila,” Pacquiao said in a short video message shot inside the famous boxing gym.
“Thank you,” added the eight-division champion.
Pacquiao was referring to the Fighting Words: a roundtable discussion about the the Fight of Century hosted by INQUIRER.net featuring some of the country’s top boxing writers and the forum held at University of Santo Tomas in cooperation with the UST journalism society.
