Foton eyes 6th FBA victory vs Malolos
Pampanga Foton seeks to extend its winning streak despite losing starting point guard Mikee Reyes to a season-ending injury as it clashes with Malolos Saturday in the Filsports Basketball Association (FBA) Unity Cup at Trinity gym in Quezon City.
The Tornadoes eked out a 98-94 victory over the Laguna Busa Warriors in Malolos last week but lost Reyes who tore an anterior cruciate ligament just four minutes into the game.
Pampanga-Foton, on top with a 5-1 record, will face Malolos at 5:30 p.m.
The other matches pit the Autocenter Artemis against the Busa Warriors at 3:30 p.m. while the QC UP Diliman Maroons tangle with the Numero Uno Antipolo Pilgrims at 7:30 p.m.
UP and Malolos are in a four-way logjam at No. 2 with identical 3-3 marks while Laguna is at the bottom with a 1-5 mark.
