HOLLYWOOD—Jinkee Pacquiao is not worried about the most important fight in her husband’s career, but she thinks Manny Pacquiao should knock Floyd Mayweather Jr. out when they finally meet in Las Vegas on May 2.

Jinkee, the vice governor of Sarangani province which is represented by Pacquiao in the House of Representatives, was taking her children out for burgers and fries when they bumped into a group of Filipino sportswriters at a popular burger joint on Sunset Boulevard here.

She’s not nervous about her husband’s showdown with Mayweather at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, she said. “Maybe I will be when we arrive in Las Vegas and the fight draws near.”

“I am not worried because he did his best in training,” she added.

But based on what she had been reading regarding the Fight of the Century, Jinkee said she feels Manny needs to knock Floyd out to win. She did not elaborate.

Retirement

Jinkee said she wants Manny to retire after the Mayweather fight, but won’t interfere with whatever her husband decides.

Jinkee was accompanied by twin sister Janet, movie director Paul Soriano, ardent Pacquiao supporter Jake Joson, some show biz friends, Team Pacquiao members and nannies had dinner at an In-N-Out outlet here.

The group, which came in five vehicles, occupied five outside tables as the burger chain was packed with customers at that time.
