Former Philippine Football Federation president Rene Adad who put priority on grassroots programs during his term died in Bacolod City Friday after a lingering illness. He was 86.
The prime mover of the Coke Go For Goal program that started in 1983, Adad last served as PFF president in 2004 and was succeeded by Johnny Romualdez.
