CYNA Rodriguez and amateur hotshot Princess Superal will carry the fight for the Philippines when the ICTSI Wack Wack Ladies Invitational tees off Tuesday at the well-manicured West course in Mandaluyong.
Coming off a seventh place finish in the Splendido leg three weeks ago, Rodriguez, 27 pounds lighter because of a no-oil diet, wants to stop Thailand’s Wichanee Meechai from scoring a second straight win.
Superal, a winner three times already this season, could be the biggest local hope here.
“I am confident, but I won’t push it too much,” said Superal.
