We’re all willing to sacrifice for our country–Valdez
When it’s time to don the Philippines’ colors, Alyssa Valdez and her team are willing sacrifice for the country’s good.
“We’re all willing to sacrifice everything for our country,” Valdez said.

Valdez is no stranger to being the leader as she was at the helm for the Ateneo Lady Eagles during its back-to-back UAAP conquests.
Article continues after this advertisement“I can’t say it’s much easier,” Valdez said. “We play the sport that we love, that’s our common denominator.”
“We all have something in common.”
Valdez said they all know their roles even with the different characters in their team.
She admitted, however, that the leader of a national team is no easy task.
“It’s hard since it’s not only a small community, it’s our country.”
