Bayern Munich Fil-Austrian defender Alaba roots for Pacquiao
Winners have a way of supporting other winners.
And one winner has expressed his support for eight-division World Champion Manny Pacquiao.
Bayern Munich defender David Alaba, who is part Filipino, posted on Twitter showing his support for the WBO Welterweight Champion ahead of his mega fight against WBC, WBA Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather.
“Guys, are you ready for the fight tonight? #teampacquiao #mayweathervspacquiao #da27,” Alaba posted on Twitter with a picture of him with two Philippine flags sticking out of his pockets.
Pacquiao is undoubtedly one of the greatest winners in boxing and the 22-year-old Alaba is not far behind.
Alaba is a four-time Bundesliga Champion, three-time DFB-Pokal Champion, DFL-Supercup Champion, UEFA Champions League Winner, UEFA Super Cup Winner, and FIFA Club World Club Winner.
That’s a lot of trophies for someone just two years removed from 20.
