Floyd attacked my injured shoulder, says Pacquiao
Filipino people’s champ Manny Pacquiao suspects that someone “leaked” to Floyd Mayweather about his injured right shoulder which his opponent continuously attacked during their fight Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila).
Pacquiao said he believed that his injury was “leaked” to Mayweather who “knew” of the handicap and “targeted” it, sports reporter Dyan Castillejo told radio dzMM quoting the boxer.
No one knew of the injured shoulder except Pacquiao’s camp and the Nevada Athletic Commission, Pacquiao’s camp reportedly told members of media.
Pacquiao reportedly said that he first injured his right shoulder when he made a wrong move while riding a jet ski sometime in 2009. However, he described it only as “minor.”
It was injured again during training three weeks ago, when he made a hard punch during a sparring session.
Pacquiao has been reported as saying that during their fight, he felt Mayweather pulling on his shoulder during the times that the American hugged him in a bid to escape his flurry of punches. CB
