MANILA, Philippines—Ateneo’s bid for a fourth straight UAAP crown had to wait as the league postponed Game 2 of the men’s basketball championship Tuesday due to Tropical Storm “Pedring.”

The juniors and women’s matches, however, pushed through even when public storm signal was raised to No. 2 in Metro Manila, before the league decided at midday to move the seniors game and the awarding ceremony this weekend.

Far Eastern University foiled Adamson’s sweep bid in Game 2 of the women’s finals, 72-50, and National University also forged a winner-take-all duel with FEU, for the juniors crown with a 57-46 win Tuesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
