Got Skills: Xavier dribblers nail 3 victories
Xavier School recorded three wins over the weekend in the Milcu Got Skills Summer Showcase at AMA Gym in Quezon City.
Joaquin Manuel scored 23 points for Xavier’s 15-and-under squad as they beat La Salle Green Hills-A, 55-49, while Edrick Lim made 15 points for the 14-U team that prevailed over LSGH PSBL-A, 48-46.
In 13-U play, John Durante finished with 12 points for the Xavier squad that nipped Marist, 48-46.
In other matches of the tournament backed by LGR Sports Wear, Magic 89.9, Gatorade, Blackwater and Kawasaki, De La Salle Zobel bested LSGH PSBL-B, 52-43, in the 14-U side; San Sebastian College nipped University of Santo Tomas, 64-62, in 15-U; RP Youth Elite-AMA blasted LSGH-B, 61-14, in 12-U division; and Marist whipped Skyhawk South Ballers, 57-17.
