Chinese Taipei was deadly from the service line with 12 service aces compared to India’s five.
Their futile second set almost became nonexistent when they turned things around in the third to the horror of India.
With the loss, India finishes as sixth in the inaugural tournament.
Chang Li-Wen led Chinese Taipei with 18 points while Chen Tzu-Ya Wu Wei-Hua added nine points apiece.
Indian captain Muraleedharan Shyamala Poornima had 11 points for India.
