Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo donates $7.8 million for Nepal relief efforts

He may be perceived as brash and selfish, but off the pitch Cristiano Ronaldo is one classy person.

According to a report in On Foot magazine, the Real Madrid forward who wears jersey no. 7 donated $7.8 million ( €7 million) to Save the Children’s earthquake relief efforts in Nepal.

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Nepal with more than 8,000 people killed in the earthquake and ensuing aftershocks.

Apart from donating his own money, Ronaldo also encouraged his Facebook supporters to donate. CC
