Zannie Boy Gialon and Nilo Salahog fired 3-under-par 69s yesterday to share a one-stroke lead over Jay Bayron after the opening round of the inaugural P3.5 million Anvaya Cove Invitational in Morong, Bataan.

Gialon, a native of Davao, gunned down five birdies against two bogeys, while Salahog came up with a four-birdie, one-bogey round for the finest start of his career.

Bayron, a multiple leg winner in this ICTSI Tour, also had five birdies but stumbled with a double bogey 6 on No. 17 and two bogeys to trail by one.
