Portugal heads Yokohama field

The country’s finest circuit racers highlight the 2015 Yokohama Philippine Grand Touring Car Championships Series today and tomorrow at Clark International Speedway.

Reigning Yokohama GT Driver Dondon Portugal leads the tough field in this six-leg series in this six-leg series where competing drivers battle each other to dispute the titles in the GT300, GT200, GT150 and GT100 categories.

Portugal will be gunning for a second straight crown in the GT300 against actor-racer Jomari Yllana, Willie Torres and comebacking Veli-Matti Kaikkonen.

Ethanworx Racing top guns Carlos Anton and defending GT200 champ Paolo Mantolino may have to sit out on the kickoff race, leaving Joey Pery and William Tan in a tight duel for the GT200 plum.
