For PLDT head coach Roger Gorayeb, Lady Troopers team captain Tina Salak is the one that carried the Philippine Army.

After Gorayeb’s Ultra Fast Hitters lost to Salak’s Lady Troopers in four sets, the head coach had given his respect to the veteran Salak.

“Salak really carried Army, even though their service wasn’t working all that well,” Gorayeb said.

Army had a hard time defending against the serves of Alyssa Valdez and Jaja Santiago as they gave up nine service aces across the two youngsters.

It wasn’t the Lady Troopers’ receiving that gave them the hard time, they also hurt themselves with their 35 errors.

Salak may have only scored six points but she gave her teammates 32 points due to excellent sets. AC
