Gorayeb asks for unity as he leads team in SEA Games
As the Southeast Asian Games draws nearer, Philippine volleyball head coach Roger Gorayeb asks for the fans’ unity as they go up against the regions’ powers.
“I’ll just try to understand them and I ask for their unity,” Gorayeb said after their Friday practice at Blue Eagle Gym in Ateneo.
Article continues after this advertisementFans have hit the choice 12-woman lineup, and even the pool, the Philippines will send for the Southeast Asian Games.
Gorayeb added he would grant the fans’ wishes, “50 players are not enough to make the national team.”
Friday’s practice was also the first time the 12 players were all present.
