When two promising NBA youngsters and an NBA legend drop by Tondo, Manila, they teach some kids to shoot hoops.

Filipino-American Laker guard Jordan Clarkson, Jazz guard Trey Burke and NBA legend Horace Grant were in the Philippines for NBA Cares and they taught some Tondo kids the basics of basketball on Saturday.

Sweaty from all the drills and the Philippine summer heat, the three were all over the cement court teaching the kids the drills that could give them edge in their basketball skills.

NBA Philippines collaborated with Project Pearls who brought 60 kids to the basketball clinic.

Layup drills, passing skills and basic defense were taught to the children while Grant looked like an oversized kid playing among grade schoolers.

Grant, however, wasn’t the only one feeling like an 8-year-old. Clarkson and Burke were also feeling the exuberance of the kids around them as they poked fun at the older NBA icon.

After the drills, Clarkson and Burke treated the kids to some dunks, though not all found the bottom of the net. RC
