Powered by the high-scoring Levi Hernandez, the Tornadoes topped the double-round elimination with a 9-1 record and are the heavy favorites in their 5:30 p.m. showdown with the Fighting Maroons (4-6).
Metro Racal Autocenter, which wound up No. 2 with a 6-4 mark, tangles with No. 3 Antipolo Wang’s in the other semifinal duel at 3:30 p.m.
The winner-take-all finals is set June 6.
All eyes will be on Hernandez, who fired 32 points in the Tornadoes’ 99-94 victory over the Maroons two weeks ago.
The Autocenter Artemis should also enter their game oozing with confidence after turning back Mighty Malolos Bulsu, 111-106, in overtime.
