Melindo seeks IBF light flyweight title

FILIPINO Milan Melindo seeks the International Boxing Federation light flyweight title when he challenges Mexican champion Javier Mendoza on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at Campo Nuevo Ensenada in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. Melindo (32-1, 12 knockouts). who trained at Wild Card Gym in Hollywood for two months, and Javier (23-2-1, 19 KOs) both made weight at 107.2 pounds.
