Ginebra import ‘feeling better’ after being rushed to hospital for dizziness

After complaining of dizziness following a bad fall early in Ginebra’s game against San Miguel on Sunday, Orlando Johnson needed to rushed to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City.

The high-scoring import drove to the basket but got his shot blocked by Arizona Reid in the first quarter. He landed badly on the baseline as his head bounced on the hardcourt.

Johnson was still was able to play through the dizziness and finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds in Ginebra’s 100-85 defeat to San Miguel.

Doctors checked for concussion symptoms, but he was cleared by the physicians and was advised to just take a rest.

Ginebra fans, meanwhile, got a sigh of relief after Johnson tweeted that he’s already in stable condition.
