DILG volleybelles still inter-agency champs

DEPARTMENT of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) thwarted Department of National Defense, 26-24, 25-20, 25-19, in the title match to bag its second straight crown in the Inter-Government Agency Female Employees Sportsfest Volleyball tournament at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex recently.

The DILG volleybelles, coached by Ney Mateo, earlier bested third-placer Department of Health in the gender development competition initiated by commissioner Akiko Thomson-Guevara of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).

In billiards, Rosario Torotoro of Department of Justice, won the gold over  DILG’s Cristevert Zulueta. Morceda Ali of DILG and Sharon Elisa Lameda of PSC shared the bronze.
