LIAM McMorrow, the 7-foot-2 Canadian who has powered Barako Bull to the top of the PBA Governors’ Cup  standings, has received at least two offers to attend Summer Camps in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Clippers, for one, recently expressed interest in McMorrow as they can certainly use an agile big man who can allow Andre Jordan to slide down to the No. 4 position.

Barako Bull, though, will still have McMorrow until the end of the PBA season since NBA camps don’t begin until August.

McMorrow’s PBA exploits have not gone unnoticed to Internet scouts, and the former hockey player who took up basketball seriously just eight years ago could ultimately live every basketball player’s dream.

The Energy (6-1) are already in the playoffs, thanks to McMorrow, who on Sunday night scored 41 points and plucked down 27 rebounds in leading Barako Bull to a 123-114 rout of Globalport.

Barako Bull team manager Raymond Rodriguez is amazed at the composure of McMorrow.

“He never loses his head maybe because of his hockey background where he’s used to being hit all the time,” said Rodriguez, a former UAAP star with Santo Tomas in 1980s.
