NCAA extends age limit from 24 to 25 due to K-12 educ system
To accommodate the athletes covered by the K-12 education system, the NCAA will extend the age limit from 24 years old to 25 starting Season 92.
In a statement,NCAA said the K-12 will deny incoming first year athletes some eligibility years when they start to play, as well as prevent college teams from immediately fielding in their high school recruits.
“The K-12 system will limit playing years of incoming athletes straight from high school so hopefully, this new age limit rule will adress the issue,” said NCAA Management Committee chair Melchor Divina of Season 91 host Mapua.
