David Kipsang of Kenya and local bet Nhea Ann Barcena ruled the 32-kilometer race of Unilab Active Health’s Run United 2 last Sunday at Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay. Kipsang clocked 2 hours, 3 minutes and 33 seconds to beat Filipinos Argel Joseph Mendoza (2:11:17) and Andrico Mahilum (2:19:16) in the men’s division. Barcena conquered the women’s field in 2:32:43, followed by Melinda delos Reyes (2:56:36) and Victorina Calma (02:57:48). Unilab’s Lester Castillo said close to 12,000 runners participated.
