Meralco nips Ginebra behind Emmet’s 33

Meralco rode on Andre Emmet’s heroics to edge Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 102-99, in the 2015 PBA Governors’ Cup Sunday night at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Emmet provided the Bolts’ their last five points in the final 1:01 and ended up with a game-high 34 points. The Bolts improved to 5-4 and pushed the Kings to the brink of elimination at 3-6. Orlando Johnson scored 25 for Ginebra but had seven turnovers, including a miscue with his team down two, 101-99, in the waning seconds. CFC
