CYNA Rodriguez shoots for a second straight title starting tomorrow when the P500,000 ICTSI Sherwood Hills Ladies championship tees off at the wind-swept, tree-lined layout in Cavite.

After announcing her return to form with a six-shot win at Riviera last month, Rodriguez again sets out as the prohibitive favorite in the field that has a sprinkling of Thai talent led by former leg winner Amolkan Phalajavin.

Sarah Ababa finished second to Rodriguez at Riviera and is expected to again knock at the door of a breakthrough win.

Phalajavin banners the formidable Thailand contingent that also has Hathaikarn Wongwaikijphaisal and Tiranan Yoopan.

Aside from Pahalajavin, Wichanee Meechai is the second Thai to win in the young tour.

Jayvie Agojo and Chihiro Ikeda are the other notable local entries with Ikeda still looking to win for the first time as a pro after a dominant amateur stint in Southeast Asia.

Korean Hwang Min-jeong, who tied for fourth at Riviera, heads the amateurs seeking to duplicate Princess Superal playoff victory at Wack Wack. Musong R. Castillo
