THE PHILIPPINE Olympic Committee executive board will meet Wednesday to assess the country’s showing in the recent Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.

POC vice president Joey Romasanta said the meeting, to be presided by president Jose “Peping” Cojuangco Jr., will tackle the report of chief of mission Julian Camacho, who earlier said the athletes generally performed well.

Expected to be dissected thoroughly is the performance of the swimming NSA, which only came up with just two silvers and 11 bronzes out of the 38 golds on offer. It was the third straight SEA Games that Filipinos missed a gold.

The PSC had earlier said it would ask Philippine Swimming Inc. president Mark Joseph to explain the case of the two divers who were called “Splash Brothers” after their video of faulty, zero-scoring dives went viral on the Internet.
